Dear Dad

To this letter I write my Dear Old Dad
I hope this letter don’t make you sad.
You may not think you raised me right
But I have a different opinion to tell you tonight.

Growing up you were a hell of a dad
No matter what type of situation that we have had.
My little league games you were there
On the bench becaused you cared.
Teaching me then how to play the game
Now that I’m older nothing has changed.
Coaching to me the ways of life
It’s now my turn to coach wrong from right.

Growing up you were a hell of a dad
No matter what type of situation that we have had.
There were struggles at time but it was ok
For you worked many jobs to make it day to day.
I saw you work hard to provide what we need
I will never forget such a selfless deed.
Now it’s my turn to show my kids
What it takes to be a father and how hard it is.

Growing up you were a hell of a dad
No matter what type of situation that we have had.
Even though I’m not there I hope you are proud of me
Raising me from the boy to the man that you see.
I know the road of life can be long and rough
But with you by my side I can’t get stuck.
I would like to repay you with this check
For all the times I was a pain in your neck.
On the check it says not null and void
Instead it reads I’m proud to be your boy.

I love you,
Marcus

Back to School

I am very interested in going back to school. Lucky me I have the Gi Bill and also ADT has a reimbursement program. With those 2 things I shouldn't have any trouble paying for school. I just know it is going to take up most of my time. I do have a pretty busy schedule believe it or not. I am wanting to go and get a degree in Business Management. Not only will it be a good degree for ADT but anywhere in the excutive world. Hopefully I can start school soon and get it over with as soon as possible. Let the hunt begin.

Union Workers

I have been interested in unions lately. It might sound odd considering I am a right-winger. I tried doing the research on some pros and cons on them but I can't seem to find much. I think it would be something good for me and some of my co-workers that I know are under paid. The area we live in and the price we make just doesn't make a lot of since. I don't see how we actually make a living. I also understand that it is not all about getting better pay. That is just one of my main concerns. I know not everyone would go for it at my office and I also don't want to be the organizer for it. If anyone out there that my stumble on this blog, if you could be so kind to give a little advice on the pros and cons of unions. For my line of work it would probably be the CWA or IBEW. I know because there is a guy that used to be in these unions at our different offices. Thanks for the help.

Afternoon

Well it is 123 in the afternoon. You might be saying "why are you not at work?" I went to work today and I went to do 2 different jobs. The first job did not have working phone lines and the 2nd job did not have any power in the building. I then went back to the office to get more work but my coordinator was not there. Now you know why I am at home at 123 in the afternoon.

I have not had a post in a while but let me sum up the weekend and the days after. Friday was not only Halloween but my wedding day. It is official. I am now a married man. It was quick and painless. After we got married we went by her work and then mine. That night we met up with our friends Brandon and Jen with their kids to go trick or treating. It was fun. Saturday.. We had a get together at our house. Thank you all that came. We had a great time. Games for the kids and rock band for the adults. I was surprised that people were that into rock band. Needless to say I ended up a little drunk, which has not happened in years. If you don't know I rarely have a drink. Like I said before, we had a great time.

I tried a new energy drink yesterday. Red Bull with cola. I do not recommenced it at all. I took one sip and dumped the rest out on the street. It was that bad. To be honest that about does it for right now. I may put up another post later today.
