Politico

Let me clarify a few things from a previous blog. I was speaking about Obama being here in VA, and said something about idiots. Blah blah blah. While I don't care for Obama's viewpoints, I know others do. I respect their opinion as long as they are intelligent. I know Obama isn't the only one out there with idiot voters. McCain has them too. Lets take race for example.. there are white voters voting for McCain just because Obama is black. While at the same time there are black voters voting just because Obama is black. It is indeed sad that people will vote on race not even knowing the viewpoints of the candidates. So the entire "idiot voter" can swing either way. I also listen to a lot of talk radio. I forget which one says this, maybe all, but I agree.. there should be a test to see if you are intelligent enough to vote. A small political test. Come to think of it.. Neal Boortz. If you fail, you can't vote. Also did you know there is no right to vote. That is another thing he likes to argue with his listeners about. Now lets take a 5 question quiz to see if you could vote.

1) Who is the speaker of the house?
2) Who are your state senators?
3) Who is your representative in the house?
4) What is the basis of the 3rd amendment?
5) What is the fair tax? I suggest clicking that link.

So, how did you do? Would you have been able to vote? I didn't even know all of them and I wrote the quiz.

Time for bed. The big wedding is tomorrow.

That is going to about do it for right now. Enjoy your day/night.

Hump Day

Today is a cold windy day around VA. And once again my house has no heat. Hopefully this problem will be corrected tomorrow. If not they will have one angry woman on a rampage. The cold is not so bad for Trish and me, we can handle it. It is the kids that I worry about. But they have been fine. I think they can adapt to the weather easier than us adults.

We just got back from the elementary school for a Halloween carnival. For a school allowing this to go on is amazing. They had a haunted hallway and various games for the kids to play. It was actually a pretty good time. Nothing like a little family outing during the middle of the week.

If you could now direct your attention to the links to the left side of the page... good for you. Now did you see the ones about "No Tapping"? This is a t-shirt company I am starting. Just for fun. I don't expect to make millions from it, but it would be nice. The t-shirts will be directed more towards martial artist, but some shirts could be directed for everyday use. Once the sites are up and running correctly I will let you all know.

I apologize for the shortness of this blog. I have been kind of outta of it the past couple of days.

2 more days till the wedding.

That is going to about do it for right now. Enjoy your day/night.

Curve balls

Today I arrive at work and was handed a really good job that would have made me a lot of money. Yes I said would have. I drive to the address listed on my package of work and find out the space is empty. I then call the number and talk to the contact man who explains to me that the place I am at is not his place of business. Even tho I am looking at the contract with his signature on it with that same address. Not only was I mad but so was the sales rep who is most likely not going to get his commission. I head to the office to get another job. Needles to say, instead of being 2 minutes from my house I now have an hour and a half drive, 8 miles from the Maryland border, and still not getting the pay I would have. Needles to say I enjoyed the drive and made the best of my time. I workout with a gyro ball and a racket ball on long drives. Hopefully tomorrow I will have a good job to make up for the difference I lost today.

Also this evening when I was headed to my martial arts class I pulled up at a red light and a girl from work is beside me. She asked me where a street was and I asked her why. There was a huge Obama rally at Harbor Park. I have never seen that many cars trying to go there. Also at the same time I never realized how many idiots we have living around here. People believe what they want to and you can't change their mind. But when they don't even try to listen to the other side of an argument, in my books they are idiots.

Just 3 more days until the wedding. I know I may not act like it but I am really excited. I just wish I could do more than just a courthouse wedding. Have more family and friends attened. But if you are family and friends back in Atlanta you may be in luck. Next time I come down to visit we are all getting together and having a party. I just have no idea when it will be. There will be one Saturday if you can make it here. It's late and I think I need to go to bed.

That is going to about do it for right now. Enjoy your day/night.

The end of another Day

Today was the first day of me doing commercial installs at my job. I think I really shocked them when I was finished with the jobs they gave me by 11am. Some people would have just went home but I went back to the office for more work. I get paid by the job so there was no way I was going to be lazy and not get more money. Even if Obama tries to take it away. I will fight for what is mine and what I love. And taking my money not just affects me but my family. They come first.

Some of you reading my blog my be enticed by the title. Ways of a Warrior. Let me take this time to explain this to those who are curious. I train in martial arts. No need to talk about the specifics of my art. But to me it is not just a sport or just combat. It is a way of life. In just about every aspect of my life I use my art to get me through day to day. When times are tough I reflect on training and how I should handle certain situations. Changing my lifestyle to better myself and the ones around me. A warrior must be able to adapt to their surroundings and also make their surroundings adapt to them. Therefore within this blog you will see how I handle the stuff that life throws at me.

Also thank you to my beautiful soon to be wife on Friday for doing my graphics on this page. You're awesome.

That is going to about do it for right now. Enjoy your day/night.

Here I Am

If you are reading this blog then you most likely know who I am. If you don't, then maybe you should check back every now and again to see who I am. The reason I am starting to blog is because it came to me as a suggestion by my soon to be wife, (Tricia). By soon I mean next week. She is a package deal. 9 year old Tessa and 5 year old Levi. While most guys would normally shy away from a woman with that situation, I embraced it and took on a huge responsibility. Not only do we have two kids right now, we hope to soon add one more to the family. Also let me take this time to mention Chibi and Miko. Our dogs. And Tenshi and Mashin. Our cats. Yes they are japanese names meaning, small, medium, angel, and devil. If you are not intregued already then there may be something wrong with you. Now that you know a little more about me here is some stuff that you may find in some upcoming blogs, stuff about Tricia, kids, food, entertainment, movie reviews, concerts I attened, martial arts, work, and other things that will occur in my life. To make this first blog a short one but give you guys a treat at the same time let me now show you the pumpkins we got the other day. I suck at carving pumpkins but I did most of the Jack pumpkin (until it started to fall apart on me and I started to get frusrated), and Tricia did the other 2, Zero and a dragon. The one with Jack is Levi's, the one with the dragon is Tessa's, and Zero belongs to Trish and me.That is going to about do it for right now. Enjoy your day/night.
